When someone we’re close to has a direct cremation we may find ourselves left feeling like something is unfinished ...

It’s never too late to join together with others to hold your own little memorial in your own way.

Private Memorials at DPHQ

A private memorial at Dead Positive includes a dedicated celebrant-led reflection and symbolic action.

Available for up to 15 people with free parking outside.

All in our bright, calm and welcoming space.

We aim to support you in creating the exact memorial to suit your needs at the most accessible cost we can.

Here are some packages to help you decide what feels best for you.

We’re always open to chat about how we can make things exactly what you need.

Memorial Option 1
£75.00

A space for remembrance, thanks and farewell which lasts for up to 30 minutes.

Our celebrant will speak about letting go, remembering and adapting.

Giving you space to join together for a moment of reflection on all that they meant to you.

Memorial Option 2
£125.00

A 60 minute space for remembrance, thanks and farewell.

Our celebrant will speak just as in option 1, but will include words written by guests or allow space for guests to also speak if they’d like to.

We’ll serve hot or cold drinks as you have a mingle together before moving on.

Memorial Option 3
£150.00

A space for remembrance, thanks and farewell (90 minutes).

In additional to all included in option 2, this option allows extra time so that those attending can bring their own food and share a favourite treat together alongside their drinks.

We’ll serve this for you whilst you mingle.

Memorial Option 4
£300.00

A bespoke time of remembrance, thanks and farewell (90 minutes).

In additional to all included in option 3, the words our celebrant says will be written just for the person you are remembering.

The time you spend together truly focuses on exactly what you need to be said.

We say ‘requested donation’ because this is the least amount required to provide this service. Any additional donation over these amounts supports our community work

Private memorials at Dead Positive are led by our founder, national award-winning celebrant, Kirstie Atherton.

Kirstie has been working in funeral support since 2021. She founded Dead Positive in 2025 as a response to the need for more openness about the universal experience of death & dying.

Kirstie is also availbable for other funeral work and for memorials in other locations.

She consults on and delivers bespoke end of life rituals throughout the UK.
